Skinny Hendrixx & The Earthtones
Skinny’s newest passion project stems from his reinvigorated love for performing with live instruments. On his way back from Mountain Vibe Music Festival, after being called up by various bands to appear on their sets, Skinny decided it was time to start his own band,
Skinny Hedndrixx and The Earthtones pulled a lot of their inspiration from the numerous hip hop performances featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. The formula is simple, take Skinny’s existing hip hop material, and adapt it to live instrumentation to add some natural elements and give it that unmistakable live energy.
Mix funky bass grooves, guitar sugar, haunting violin lines, wailing horns, ethereal keys and vocals, with that signature Skinny Hendrixx flow and the results are an explosive sound that’s sure to wow crowds wherever they go.
