Blues fusion for the soul. The Hot Mountain Dips stay true to classic San Francisco with original free-form funkified bluesy grooves similar to the jambands of the 60’s and 70’s. Their originals have taken the bay-area by storm blossoming from this particular union of talent that dips deep down into that greasy loud rock-n-roll of generations past. Constantly striving to be atypical the dips feature a lead vocalist on drums with ripping slide guitar and bass lines dipping through extended periods of improvisation. The debut album is on its way with special guest Pete Grant (Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage) and engineered by Oz Fritz (Oysterhead, Tom Waits, Primus, Les Claypool, Ramones, Iggy Pop).
